Dylan loves books, always has.  My favorite is when he brings you a book, and sits down right in your lap, and assumes the reading position.  Again, no question this kid can communicate without talking :)  He has been loving baths again too.  After a long stint of only standing in the bath tub, he now sits, squats, scoots, and splashes to his hearts content!

Mmmmm

So I have been meaning to describe some of the cute things Dylan does, mainly so I remember when I reread this 10 years from now :)  Do you thinks blogs will still be around in 10 years??  Anyway, Dylan has perfected the use of the word Mmmmm.  The kiddo doesn't speak english yet, but he can certainly communicate.  Yesterday he took a bottle out of the cupboard and the gallon of milk out of the refrigerator, and looked at me with puppy dog eyes and said Mmmm.  I guess he wanted some milk :)  He also points to pizza on his flash cards and says Mmmmm, points to ice cream in his books and says Mmmmm (and ice cream shows up in a lot of books), and opens the freezer and points beyond the peas on the top shelf to the ice cream and says....yep....Mmmmm.

Dylan loves airplanes.  He can spot one crazy far away in the air, and has recently started playing with this airplane we got him on his first airplane trip (to Las Vegas :) 

Discovery Center

We went to the Discovery Center for the first time.  Dylan had a great time playing with everything that spins :)  He especially liked the giant bubble also.

Happy Halloween!

Dylan was a cute little monkey this year!  This definitely matches his actions around the house and yard.  He wouldn't entertain the thought of wearing his hood or mits....but the banana is a give away :)  He wasn't a huge fan of trick-or-treating (his stranger danger played a big role in that).  He was a big fan of the candy though, especially tootsie pops!  He tolerated a few houses so he could reap the rewards!
