Big Birthday Boy

Yep...it has already been a year since this little guy was born.  What a year it has been :)  Here are some photos of the birthday boy.

Good morning birthday boy!

Some birthday eggs for Lucas

First birthday present...a sand table!

Group loves :)

Lucas's own dinosaur cake.  He played with it, but didn't eat much.  This is most likely due to the ear infection he was recovering from (his first ear infection), and not the cake itself, since we have seen him devour sweets compliments of big brother sharing...

New dino book

It was a great day and Dylan was a great big brother.  We can't wait to see what the next year has in store for our little dare devil.

Dylan quotes

When I look back at this blog....I know these are going to make me smile :)

"I can't believe my eyes"

"I didn't see that one coming"

"I am so glad you popped out of mommy's tummy Lucas" - (that one actually makes me tear up).

"Just trust me"

"Welcome to my room gma and gpa"

D: "I am faster than a rocket, like 10 times faster", Me: how fast is buzz lightyear?,  D: "almost as fast as me, like 8 times faster than a rocket",  Me: How fast is dad?,  D: "he is fast too, almost as fast as me but faster than buzz.  So like 9 times faster."  Me: wow, that is fast. what about me?,  D: "You are really fast too mom, almost as fast as buzz.  So like 7 times faster than a rocket."

And last but not least, we went out to dinner and Dylan picked up the menu and said "we need to order some pizza and beer".  Yep, couldn't have said it better myself buddy.

Boo at the Zoo

Halloween!

First lollipop...trick or treating at daddy's office

checking out the candy!

One more trick or treat

So proud of Dylan for concurring his fear of trick or treating!!

Dylan has become an expert trick or treater :)

And now September...so far :)

Playing some sweet music at the zoo

New dinosaurs from the zoo!

BSU game!!

Never forget the important lesson that no noise means things are ok....boys know that lesson too :)  I left some frosting on the counter, Dylan hijacked the frosting and took it to a lower table, and Lucas decided to help himself!  I guess he will be trying frosting before his first birthday cake.

Cousins!
